Amy earned an M.A. in College Student Personnel from Ball State University, and has worked in the career development industry as a university administrator, executive recruiter, outplacement counselor, professional association advisor, and relocation coach. She wrote a monthly column, “Your Counseling Career,” focusing on career issues, and co-authored A Job Search Manual for Counselors and Counselor Educators, both published by the American Counseling Association. She enjoys coaching high school and college students, new graduates, Moms transitioning back to work, accompanying partners on relocation, and professionals seeking better work/life balance. She is an enthusiastic user of the MBTI and Holland-based occupational assessments and writes exceptional resumes.
