Heather Vergara is a former corporate marketing workaholic turned Mommy entrepreneur who is passionate about sharing her love of travel, especially with her kids. Experiencing the world through her children’s eyes and reconnecting as a family during their adventures is one of her greatest joys.
While many people find planning travel overwhelming and exhausting, Heather is happiest when planning multiple trips at one time, making her “bucket list” dream vacations a reality. After hearing from countless friends that they wanted to borrow her itineraries or just have her plan their trips, she decided to make that a reality - and Show Them the World was born!

Heather specializes in what she calls Active Family Vacations - trips full of adventure that challenges, beauty that astounds, and memories that last a lifetime. Some of her favorite trips to plan are National Parks itineraries, in which she efficiently packages multiple Parks into one trip so you can see more, do more - all with the minimal driving. And, as a partner with Travel Planners International (TPI), Heather has access to 200+ Preferred Travel Suppliers and all their discounts and special promotions, so she can often get you a better deal on any vacation than you could get on your own – at no cost to you! In addition to travel and adventure, Heather is passionate about kindness, laughter, service to others, whole food, and sweating every day. She serves her community through her work as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) helping abused and neglected children in the Indianapolis area.

Heather has an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University, an Executive
Education certificate in Digital Marketing from Columbia University, and a
BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina. She lives with her
husband, two young children and two furry dogs in Zionsville, Indiana.
